Noolaham Foundation’s initial step to establish a working unit in the Community Medicine Department, University of Jaffna

Noolaham Foundation is in process to establish its work station in the Department of Community Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna. A corresponding meeting was held on 16th Jan. 2014 in the departmental office of Community Medicine of Jaffna University with the head of the Community Medicine Department, Dr. R. Surenthirakumar.

Mr. S. Shanmugapriyan, Chief Programme Executive participated representing Noolaham Foundation in these discussions on establishing a working unit of Noolaham Foundation in the Community Medicine Department to document and archive the books related to the same. As a result, it was agreed to establish a working unit in the Community Medicine Library and also to send a list of names of Community Medicine books and details of other relevant documents for the digitization processes.
