Details
Noolaham Foundation has been successfully carrying out the task of knowledge sharing for the benefit of the present and future generations for the past 8 years. Our tasks include documenting and preserving the knowledge bases related to the heritages of the Tamil speaking communities in Sri Lanka. Marking the completion of its 8th year, Noolaham Foundation has decided to hold a special event along with a research conference on the theme “Documentation and Preservation in the Sri Lankan Tamil Milieu”. This event will be held on the 27th and 28th of April 2013.
A call for papers for the conference has already been issued. A research journal titled ‘Noolaham’ will be released for the first time to coincide with the 8th anniversary of the Foundation on the 28th of April. Many established and budding researchers have submitted the abstracts of their papers which are currently under review.
Noolaham Foundation welcomes all interested audience to this event which would offer them a clear understanding of the socio-cultural structure of our society. We also expect every possible support from volunteers in making this event a success.
