Former Board Members
Eelanathan Puvanendran
Eelanathan Puvanedran bought the first server space for Noolaham, brought many volunteers including Pathmanana Iyer into Noolaham, moderated the google group, donated books and magazines and provided funding for activities. He conducted outreach activities and contributed at the wiki web site as well. He was also a member of the Board Member when it became operational first board in 2008.
He worked as an Engineer by profession in Singapore.
He was born in Sri Lanka, Jaffna, Udupi, Ilakkanavattai on 1981 and had been residing in Singapore until his death on 30 September 2012.
Peer Mohamed Punniyameen
Peer Mohamed Punniyameen was served as a Board Member in 2009. Punniyamean has given numerous publications including his works and works published by Sinthanai Vaddam. He had also contributed towards outreach initiative by mentioning Noolaham Digital Library in his publications.
Mohamed Punniyameen had been the Managing Director of the limited think tank "Chinthanavattam" and has worked as a full-time journalist and Tamil literary critic. Professionally, Bunyamin joined the Sri Lanka Teachers' Service in 1983, then served as the College Principal, Liaison Officer to the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Central Provincial Council and Assistant Director of the Central Provincial Ministry of Culture, retiring voluntarily in 2004.
He was a Sri Lankan writer, author, publisher and journalist who contributed to Tamil literature from many angles who worked as Independent Journalist, and Editor. He was born in Udathalavinna, near Kandy, the capital of the Central Highlands of Sri Lanka. He held a Bachelor's degree from the University of Peradeniya and a Diploma in Journalism. He has written and published 170 books in Tamil until his death at the age of 55.
Srikanthaluxmi Arulanantham
Srikanthaluxmi contributed as the Consultant on Library and Information Science. She was also responsible for implementing library science standards.
Srikanthaluxmi was born in Inuvil, Jaffna. She studied in Ramanathan College, Chunnakam. She is a graduate in Economics from University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. She two postgraduate degrees in Library and Information Science from Documentation Research and Training Centre(DRTC), Bangalore and Madurai Kamaraj University.
She was working as Chief Librarian in University of Jaffna, Srilanka. She was actively participating organize information in village level libraries. She was the director of Foundation for Library Awareness(FOLA)n. She is author of several books.

Bharaneetharan J
Bharaneetharan was responsible for the Noolaham : United Kingdom from 2012 to 2015.
Bharaneetharan was born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka in 1984. He studied in Jaffna Hindu College, Jaffna. Bharaneetharan received a B.Sc in Computer Networks from the University of East London, England in 2009. He is working as Journalist and producer in Television.
He is located in Jaffna, Sri Lanka.
Sancheevi Sivakumar
Mr. Sancheevi Sivakumar is currently working at the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka as a Deputy Registrar. He has been a Tamil Wikimedia contributor since 2010 and an Admin. Editor.
He is an old boy of Kalmunai Carmel Fatima College, National School and Graduated as BSc (Agriculture) from Eastern University, Sri Lanka (EUSL) in 1998. Worked as a Temporary Assistant Lecturer at EUSL up to April 2000. Joined Sri Lanka Agricultural Service (SLAgS) in 2000. There after took the position of Assistant Registrar in the University System in 2002. He obtained his MPA degree from Colombo University.
He has been contributing to the Kalmunai-Net Media Network as Board Member and one of the page editors to its e-paper. He has been serving as an Editor to the Earth Lanka environmental web portal.
He is located Batticaloa, Sri Lanka.
Mauran Muralitharan
Mauran Muralitharan was served as a Board Member from 2008 to 2009.
Mauran Muralitharan is the co-founder of Project Noolaham Mauran digitized four books, gave publications to be digitized, conducted outreach activities, took part in discussions, wrote blogs about Noolaham activities, contributed to the Technology Team and served as a Director.
He was born in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka on 12.12.1982. He finished his primary education at Uvarmalai Vivekananda College and Intermediate, Higher Education in Trincomalee Sri. Koneswara Hindu College.
Ramanaish Kathiravel
Ramanaish Kathiravel was served as a Board Member from The Year 2011 to The year 2014.
Ramanish has contributed in 2011 to restructure the organization. In the same year, he presented to the production of a strategy plan, road map and organization manual and in 2014 supported to the design of the PPP Manual.
He functions as a Program Specialist, Project Director, Career guidance Specialist, and Program Manager after finishing his education in the University of Colombo and Open University of Sri Lanka.
He is located in Sri Lanka.
Vinodh Rajan
Vinodh was responsible for the technical infrastructure of the foundation and contributed as a Mediawiki developer. He spearheaded the optimization of the site by automating wiki tasks, integrating various tools and implementing various updates. Vinodh was also maintaining a group to handle and improve the website. Vinodh has previously contributed to Tamil Wikipedia and as well as many of the activities of the Tamil Heritage Foundation including Heritage Wiki.
He is originally from Chennai, India. He is interested in writing systems, languages and digital humanities. He has a PhD in Digital Paleography at the University of St Andrews, Scotland. Ramanan Santhirasegaramoorthy
Ramanan Santhirasegaramoorthy was served as a Board Member in 2009 and currently contributing through Noolaham Canada.
Ramanan was born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, He holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura in Sri Lanka and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Staffordshire, England.
He is an Entrepreneur, Project Director, Broadcaster, Writer and Motivational Speaker.Ramanan is actively involved in the community development activities and coordinated numerous charity events. He is actively supporting educational charities and sustainability building projects in Sri Lanka.

Sutharshan Sirinivasan
Sutharshan Sirinivasan is responsible for Noolaham Canada. As a blogger he constantly introduced Noolaham through his writings and is currently engaged in introducing Noolaham to Canadian Tamil society.
Sutharshan was born in Colombo, Srilanka in 1979. He studied in Jaffna Hindu College and in Lester B. Pearson Collegiate Institute in Canada.
As a blogger his focuses are mainly in constructively discussing the post war conditions and also in documenting the lives of Tamils in Canada.
He is located in Toronto, Canada.
Seran Sivananthamoorthy
Seran is Former board member of the Noolaham Foundation. Earlier he worked as a General Manager in Noolaham Foundation.
Seran was born in 1990 in Jaffna. He studied at the University of Moratuwa, Colombo. He was awarded with 'Ashoka youth venture', a global community of young social entrepreneurs, an award organized by the Ashoka innovators for the public. He has actively participated in various activities and held leading positions including President, Secretary etc in school level.
He is located in United Kingdom.
Natkeeran L.Kanthan
Natkeeran is the volunteer for the Technology team.
He was responsible for developing the technical roadmap for the Noolaham digital library. He was the co-coordinator of Noolaham's executive meetings. He is also part of the Noolaham : Canada Team.
Nakeeran graduated with a Master of Engineering (Electrical-Computer Focus) from Ryerson University, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is a software developer with focus on business intelligence applications in Toronto, Canada. He also contributes to Tamil Wikipedia and human rights violations documentation projects. His interests include natural language processing, data mining, and Tamil language.

Thamilini Jothilingam
Thamilini is an emeritus board member of the Noolaham Foundation. She contributed to the Initiatives and Proposal Writings, Multimedia Documentation, Research for Documentation, Documentation of the Documentation Process, Digital Preservation of Upcountry Archival Records, Setup of the Multimedia Room, and Muslim Ephemera Digitization.
Thamilini is a researcher and documentary artist based in Toronto, Canada. Thamilini’s research interests and artistic practice are centred at the confluence of art and anthropology, with a focus on gender, memory, archives, cultural heritage, and visual histories. She holds a BA (Hons) in Social Anthropology from the University of Kent, UK and a MFA in Documentary Media from Ryerson University, Canada.
Thayanthan Thirunavukarasu contributed to Project Management Oversight, Operational Tracking Sheet Management (OTS), Internal Document Management System (DMS) processes, Audio Books Project 2020, Digitization at Jaffna Public Library 2022, and Nooaham Singapore chapter.
Thayanthan was born in 1984 in Jaffna ,Sri Lanka. He studied in Mahajana college Tellippalai and graduated in Civil Engineering from University of moratuwa Srilanka. He has also completed Master degree in Civil engineering from National university of Singapore and MBA from university of Stirling, UK.
He has performed various roles in his profession and He is currently working as a Senior Resident Engineer cum Project Manager in Singapore.
Being as a social activist and writter, he focuses on sustainable economic and educational development strategies together with social and enviornment sustainability.
He is currently located in Singapore.
Mohamed Saakir Ibrahim
Saakir was served as a Board Member in 2022. He has contributed to the Muslim Archive project, Collections Development, Noolaham Digital Library Collection Development 2022, Noolaham Digital Library Collection Development 2023, Documentation of Sri Lankan Muslim Ephemera and Office Management (Batticaloa).
Mohamed Saakir was born in 1991 in Sammanthurai,Sri Lanka. He studied in St/Arafa Vidyalaya and St/MMMV (National School) and graduated in Medical Laboratory Sciences from the University of Jaffna, Srilanka. He is an Author, Antique Collector and a Laboratory Scientist. He published a book about local history in 2012 ( 'Toponymy of Sammathurai') and He is one of the main four authors of the editorial board of Concise History of Sammanthurai (Sammanthurai History and Legacy) which was published in 2019. Also he is writing to the Magazines. He is currently working as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Srilanka.
He focuses on the Local history , Folklore, Toponymy and Poetry
