On the effort of the Noolaham Foundation, an event on manuscripts archive was held recently at the Chunnakam Public Library. Particular amount of manuscripts on astrology and medicine were converted to the digital format in the first phase. In this event 1385 manuscripts and about 75 ancient coins were digitally documented .
Sivanandamoorthy Seran, the Chief Operating Officer of the Noolaham Foundation who had undergone a workshop on manuscripts archiving at Pondichery recently, Munaivar J. Arangaraj and the Librarian of the Chunnakam Public Library K.Sounthararajan too participated in the event. The Noolaham Foundation is always making consistent efforts to participate in similar projects. It is the expectation of the Noolham Foundation that people working in the same environment should come forward to offer possible support.
