What volunteers can do?

Listed below are some examples.

• Editing the Tamil Digital Library web site. (creating individual pages for documents accessible online, correcting errors, checking ebook links, etc.)
• Collecting documents to be digitized with permissions from authors, publishers, schools, temples and other social organizations
  • Please use the following:
    • Permission to digitize - English Original
    • Permission to digitize - Tamil Translation
• Scanning and creating ebooks
• Providing hardware such as computers, scanners (see below for details)
• Getting involved with the group to creating awareness about Noolaham.
• Getting involved with the technical team to improve our services
• Making donations

Technical Support needed

• To move the digital library from MediaWiki to advance search enabled CMS
• To input in depth meta-data for documents
