Professor Sinniah Maunaguru (S. Maunaguru) is one of the Patron of Noolaham Foundation. He has served in the Noolaham Foundation advisory board since the foundation was established.

He was born in Batticaloa in1943. Prof. S. Maunaguru has made several achievements in performance as well as in research in the field of Theater during the last 50 years. Prof. S. Maunaguru is a former Dean of the Faculty of Arts, head of the Department of Fine arts and the Head of the Sawami Vipulananda institute of aesthetic studies at the Eastern University Sri Lanka. He had obtained B.A (Hons) and M.A from University of Peradeniya, PG Dip in Education from University of Colombo and Ph.D from University of Jaffna.

He has made profound contribution to the Sri Lankan Theater especially to the Batticaloa Koothu, the traditional theater of Batticaloa. He had produced many plays while he was working both in university of Jaffna and in Eastern University Srilanka. He has written more than 25 books and 15 plays in Tamil and more than 150 scholarly articles published in reputed journals.

He is located in Batticaloa, Srilanka.
